Peter founded PS English. He also takes many lessons. He graduated in Languages and Law from Cambridge University. He has been teaching Japanese people for many years and has a deep understanding of the language requirements of Japanese students and the best way to improve the fluency, accuracy and range of their English.

Flavia is a highly qualified and experienced English teacher who previously worked for the British Council. She has also worked in Poland, India and Indonesia.

Nicola is a highly experienced English teacher. She has taught many Japanese people 1-1, including several Public Prosecutors on research secondments in London and also teaches some of our Housewife group lessons.

Alison is a graduate of Oxford University and was a TV producer and writer before she started teaching. Living in Belsize Park, she also takes homestay students, many from Japan.

Matthew joined PS English in 2008. He previously spent 3 years teaching in Japan. He qualified as an English teacher with the highest possible grade. He has a great deal of teaching experience and a passion for Japanese language and culture

Emma graduated in French and Italian and was a magazine publisher before she had children. She taught business executives and private students in Tokyo and Cambridge and has maintained a keen interest in Japanese language and culture.

Clark is an experienced Celta qualified teacher with 15 years teaching experience. He is highly skilled in encouraging his students to speak with confidence, facilitating their progress with a relaxed , friendly and fun approach. Clark is also an accomplished flamenco and classical guitarist, performer composer and recording artist.

Jon is now an experienced teacher of Business, Economics and English. He had an internet music business which he sold to Sony and other investors. Jon passed the Cambridge Japanese Certificate before visiting Japan for his company, once on a British Government trade mission. He likes football and filming.

Eleanor has taught English in Japan and Chile with clients ranging from school children to business people from companies such as Honda and retired company presidents. She graduated from Durham University with a degree in Japanese Studies and has worked for a Japanese local authority in international relations. Originally from Edinburgh she plays the Scottish Harp and also enjoys making jewellery in her spare time.

Anne taught English in Japanese universities for 5 years - including the prestigious Waseda University in Tokyo. She is now teaching English at University to international students and Japanese business men in London and also offers short term/long term accommodation and homestays in West London. She loves travelling - both abroad and around the UK.

Cheryl has a PhD in English and extensive foreign teaching experience including two years at Tsuda College in Tokyo. A former Fulbright scholar, she has published nine books and contributed to many more. She is also an internationally known performance poet whose work has strong Japanese influences.

Deborah has taught for many years both in the UK and abroad, particularly in France and Turkey. She enjoys exchanging views and learning about Japanese life and culture from her students. Her aim is to take the stress out of learning English and her second role as a yoga teacher could also help with this.

David is a highly qualified English teacher. Coming from a career in Advertising & Marketing, he specialises in both Business and General English. recently back from teaching in France for 6 years, David's loves are football, music and travel.

Helen is a highly qualified English teacher living in Harrow. She worked in nursing and social services in Africa and has been teaching English since 1995.

Bryn spent 4 years in Madrid teaching executives from blue chip companies such as BP and Gate Gourmet. On his return to London he has continued teaching Japanese executives (and football coaches!) for PS English.

Martin taught English in Kyoto and Osaka and teaches Japanese businessmen and families in London.

Daniel taught in Tokyo for a number of years. He then moved to New York where he became a successful actor, whilst maintaining his teaching of English to Japanese students. He has now moved back to the UK and is pleased to continue his contacts with Japanese students through PS English.

Natalie spent 2 years in Japan. She teaches businessmen and children for PS English and has proved very popular with all her studentds. She has a Masters in Human Rights Law

Henry has lived in Japan for four years in total, two of which he spent as a research scholar at Tokyo University. In his spare time he loves playing classical violin and jazz piano.

Chirag taught in Japan between 2003 and 2005 for the JET Programme. He is a member of the London Kyudo Society!
He has taught many of our academic students.

Alan has degrees from Cambridge University and UCL. He has taken intensive conversation courses whilst studying medicine.

Deirdre specialises in teaching language exams such as IELTS and FCE and is also an examiner for UCLES and Edexcel.

Will graduated from Cambridge University. He has practised as a barrister. He has taught at PS English since it started and specialises in teaching Japanese Government researchers.
