About Us

Peter Bernstein formed PS English in 2001. Peter studied languages and law at Cambridge University and taught many Japanese people before starting the school. Peter selects all our teachers and tries to meet all PS English students so that he can discuss the most suitable plan for you.
We also employ a Japanese speaker who is available to talk to students who are more comfortable speaking in their native language.

Our teachers have a great deal of experience with Japanese students (many have worked in Japan) and are aware of the language and cultural problems that Japanese students in London can face.
